Discovery Education has many features that I was unaware of until recently. Here are just a few:
Ways to Search
There are many ways to search for videos. Most teachers search through key words. There is also the curriculum search. Underneath the keyword box there is a small link.
When you click on the link you will be able to chose the standard for your lesson. The blue plus sign signals you that you
can further narrow your search.
Once you fill out the form you will be given a list of standards. The blue plus sign your indicates you can narrow your focus.
When you find exactly what you are looking for and you have previewed the video you can save it to "My contents" so you can find it easily. You can also share what you have found in the "Global My Contents" area for your grade level colleagues to use as well.
